     Barry J. Phillips was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a member of the MCpl Mark Isfeld Memorial Chapter, Victoria, British Columbia.

     Barry joined The Canadian Armed Forces in September 1961 and was affiliated with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps. He served until his retirement in December 1995.

     He completed a United Nations tour with United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF), Golan Heights in South-Western Syria, Middle East during the period May - December 1975. He also completed a tour with United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR), Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yugoslavia during the period January - July 1993 and a tour with United Nations Mission in Haiti (UNMIH) during the period September 95 - August 1996 as a civilian contractor.

     Barry was also a member of the Royal Canadian Service Corp Association and the Canadian Airborne Forces Association.

     George B. Dobson was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member and a Past President of the MCpl Mark Isfeld Memorial Chapter, Victoria, British Columbia.

     George joined The Canadian Armed Forces in January 1960 and was affiliated with the 1st Battalion Queen's Own Rifles of Canada. He served until his retirement in January 1967.

     He completed a United Nations tour with The 1st Battalion Queen's Own Rifles of Canada with United Nations Force in Cyprus.

     Edison J. MacDonald was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the Cpl Albert Storm, CD Chapter (Niagara), St Catharines, Ontario.

     Edison joined The Canadian Armed Forces in January 1952 and affiliated with the Royal Canadian Regiment. He served until his retirement in March 1978.

     He completed United Nations tours with The Royal Canadian Regiment in Korea, two tours with United Nations Force in Cyprus and a tour with United Nations Emergency Force in Egypt.

     Edison was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 350, St Catharines, Ontario. A member of the Korean Veterans Association Unit 15. A member of the Royal Canadian Regiment Association, a member of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Association and a member of the Royal Niagara Military Institute.

     J.R. Robert LeBlance was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Past President of the Dartmouth - Halifax Chapter, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

     Robert joined The Canadian Armed Forces in March 1970 and was affiliated with the Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers. He served until his retirement in June 2001.

     He completed a United Nations tour with United Nations Force in Cyprus with 2nd Battalion, Royal Canadian Regiment in 1973.

     Reverend Father Georges Savoie was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the Kingston Limestone Chapter, Kingston, Ontario.

     Georges joined The Canadian Armed Forces in October 1962 and served until his retirement in January 1988. During his Priesthood he served as Roman Catholic Chaplain on 15 Bases. As Chaplain he followed the troops in exercises and in unit deployments.

     He completed United Nations tours with two tours with United Nations Force in Cyprus in 1980 and in 1986. He also served a tour with United Nations Disengagement Force, Golan Heights in 1983.

     He was also a member of the Federal Superannuates National Association.

Roddie MacIsaac      "Roddie" MacIsaac was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Founding Member in the Private Alexander Lerue Chapter, Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia.

     "Roddie" joined the 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise's) in March 1957 and served until his retirement in August 1969. He also served with the Hussars stationed in Germany.

     He completed United Nations tours with United Nations Emergency Force, Egypt, with Reconnaissance Squadron, 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise's) during the period February 1964 to February 1965.

     He was also a member and former President of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 43, Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. "Roddie" was also prominent as Port Hawkesbury's Emergency Measures Office (EMO) Coordinator. He was a co-founder of the area Fish and Game Association and was an instructor for Federal Firearms and Hunter-Safety Programs.

     Fergus Power was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the Kingston Limestone Chapter, Kingston, Ontario.

     Fergus joined the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals in November 1958 and served until his retirement in August 1980.

     He completed United Nations tours with United Nations Organization in Congo (ONUC) during the period February 1962 to December 1962. He completed a tour with the United Nations Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) during the period October 1973 to May 1974 and he completed a tour with United Nations Emergency Force (Middle East) during the period June 1979 to February 1980.

     He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 560, Kingston, Ontario.

Frank Poley      Frank James Poley was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member and Founding President of the Peterborough Chapter, Peterborough, Ontario.

     Frank joined The Canadian Armed Forces in 1964 and was affiliated with the Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers. He served until his retirement in 1984.

     He completed a United Nations tour with United Nations Emergency Force, Middle East during the period August 1977 to April 1978.

     Frank was very active with Branch 52, Royal Canadian Legion, Peterborough, Ontario. For 13 years he and his good friend Harold Holland conducted visitation on behalf of the Legion at area retirement residences and private homes. Frank was also a member of the Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineer Association.

Ralph Hall      Ralph G.B. Hall was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the Prince Edward Island Chapter, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

     Ralph joined the Royal Canadian Postal Corps in June 1951 and served until his retirement in June 1966.

     Ralph completed a United Nations tour with United Nations Emergency Force and was also a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

     He was also a member of the Canadian Korean Veterans Association and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Summerside, Prince Edward Island.

     Robert L. Lund was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the Spr Christopher Holopina Chapter, Brandon, Manitoba.

     Robert joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in October 1976 and was employed as a cook. He served until his retirement in October1996. Robert transferred to the Canadian Reserves in January 1997 and was employed with the 26th Field Artillery Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery located in Brandon, Manitoba.

     Robert completed United Nations tours with United Nations Force in Cyprus UNFICYP) during the period October 1979 to April 1980; United Nations Observation Force Golan Heights (UNDOF) during the period April 1982 to October 1982 and United Nations Mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina (UNMIBH) during the period June to December 1991.

     He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Brandon, Manitoba.

Narcisse Lacourcière      Narcisse Lacourcière was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the Colonel John Gardam Chapter, Ottawa, Ontario.

     Narcisse joined the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery in April 1954 and served until his retirement in March 1967.

     Narcisse completed a United Nations tour with United Nations Force in Cyprus during the period September 1965 to March 1966 with the 4th Regiment, The Royal Canadian Horse Artillery.

John Horvath      John Horvath was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the MGen Lewis W. MacKenzie Chapter, Sydney, Nova Scotia. John was a Past President of the Chapter and was the Eastern Region Director for CAVUNP.

     John joined the Royal Canadian Engineers in December 1955 and served until his retirement in April 1963.

     John completed United Nations tours with United Nations Emergency Force, Gaza Egypt during the period September 1958 to October 1959 and also during the period September 1961 until October 1962.

     John was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 12, Sydney, Nova Scotia.

     Clyde R. Bougie was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the Central Ontario Chapter, Barrie, Ontario.

     Clyde joined the Canadian Army Infantry Corps in February 1944 and was affiliated with the Royal Canadian Regiment of Canada. Clyde served in the 2nd World War and in the Korean Conflict. He also served with NATO in West Germany during the period 1957 to 1959.

     Clyde completed two tours with the United Nations.

     In 1975, Clyde was a founding committee member of the International Federation of Korea Veterans' Associations. He was a member of the Canadian Forces Pensioner's Association. Founder of Korea Veterans Association Canada. Honorary Member Korea Veteran's Association, Korea. Life member of the Royal Canadian Regiment Association. Charter member of the Canadian Forces Air Borne Association. A member of the Royal Canadian Legion and also the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans in Canada Association.

     Donald Goddard was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the Colonel John Gardam Chapter, Ottawa, Ontario.

     Donald joined the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps in January 1962 as a Supply Technician. He served in various bases within Canada and in Europe with NATO until his retirement in March 1994.

     Donald completed a United Nations tour with 73 Canadian Service Battalion with United Nations Emergency Force, Egypt during the period Mar 1975 to September 1975.

     Clayton G. Hodder was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the Calgary Chapter, Calgary, Alberta.

     Clayton joined the Canadian Army Infantry Corps in February 1957 and was affiliated with the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada and then with the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry until he was honourably released in March 1982.

     Clayton completed a United Nations tour with the United Nations Forces in Cyprus.

     Clayton was also a member of the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada Association.

     Marcel Lemarbre was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the Colonel John Gardam Chapter (Ottawa), Ottawa, Ontario.

     Marcel joined the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in June 1957 and served until his retirement in November 1993.

     Marcel completed a United Nations tour with the United Nations Emergency Force in Camp Rafa on the Gaza Strip, Egypt with 56 Transport Company, Royal Canadian Army Service Corps during the period December 1959 to December 1960.

     Marcel was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and was a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps Association.

James Cameron      James M. Cameron was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the Prince Edward Island Chapter, Summerside, Prince Edward Island.

     James joined the Canadian Army in January 1956 and served until his retirement in March1985.

     He completed United Nations tours with United Nations Emergency Force with the Royal Canadian Signals Squadron, Rafah, Egypt during the period February 1966 to February 1967. He also served with 73 Service Battalion located at Ismailya, Egypt during the period April 1979 to October 1979.

     He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 17, Wellington, Prince Edward Island.

     Norman A. Westwell was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Founding Member in the Stony Plain Chapter, Stony Plain, Alberta.

     Norman joined the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps in January 1961 and served until his retirement in February 1986.

     Norman completed a United Nations tour with United Nations Emergency Force Middle East.

     He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 256, Stony Plain, Alberta.

     Larry Francis Gray was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the Colonel John Gardam Chapter (Ottawa), Ottawa, Ontario.

     Larry joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in November 1958 and was trained as a flight navigator, as such, his career as a navigator took him across Canada. He served in Manitoba, in Nova Scotia and Ontario. Larry also completed a three year tour in Soest, Germany. Larry retired from the Air Force in June 1983.

     Larry completed a United Nations tour with the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization in Palestine (UNTSO), a tour with the Multinational Force and Observers (Sinai) (MFO) and a tour with the United Nations Emergency Force Middle East (UNEFME).

     Larry was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, The Royal Canadian Air Force Association and the Friends of the Canadian War Museum.

Billy Willbond      Billy Willbond was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the MCpl Mark Isfeld Memorial Chapter, Victoria, B.C.

     Billy joined the Royal Canadian Infantry Corps and was affiliated with the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada in November 1958; he also served with the Canadian Airborne Regiment. He retired from the Military in November 1978 and in November 1979 joined the Central Saanich Police as a jail guard and a communications member until January 2002.

     Billy completed a tour with the 1st Battalion Queen's Own Rifles of Canada in Cyprus during the period April 1965 to October 1965.

     While visiting Nairobi in 1998, Billy witnessed first-hand the lack of health care facilities and the plight of Kenya's destitute victims of AIDS. Upon his return to Canada, he joined the International Community for the Relief of Starvation and Suffering (ICROSS) and later became Chairman of ICROSS Canada. Through this organization, he solicited contributions from various sources and collected large amounts of excess medical equipment and desperately needed medicine which he shipped, often at his own expense, to Kenya's health care workers.

     Billy is a life member of the Canadian Airborne Forces Association, a Life Member of the British Columbian Federation of Peace Officers, a member of the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada Association, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, and a member of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) WO's & Senior NCO's Club (Retired). Billy was also a member of the Victoria Numismatic Society and the International Society of Poets.

     Earle M. Topley was a Life Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Life Member in the Cpl Albert Storm, CD Chapter (Niagara), St. Catharines, Ontario.

     Earle joined the Royal Canadian Signal Corp in September 1964 and served until his retirement in October 1972.

     Earle completed a shortened tour with the Canadian Signal Corp in Cyprus, however was repatriated before his tour termination date. Earle did receive the Special Service Medal for completing a tour in Canadian Forces Station Alert.

     Earle is a Lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Signals Club, was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 163, Mount Hamilton, Hamilton Ontario. He was also a member of ICROSS Canada.

     Earle was a volunteer with the Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corp (Griffon) Cadet Squadron 826 in Hamilton and was an Associate Member of the Royal Canadian Air Force Association Wing, Mount Hope, Ontario.

     John James Sterling was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member in the National Headquarters Chapter.

     John joined the Canadian Army in May 1951and was affiliated with the Royal Canadian Artillery and served with the 3rd Royal Canadian Horse Artillery. He served in Korea in 1954 as well as a tour in Germany. John Retired in May 1971 and settled in Belmont, Nova Scotia.

     John was also a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 026, Colchester-Truro, Nova Scotia.

     Frank William Ernest Warren was a Honorary - Life Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Honorary - Life Member in the Cpl Albert Storm, CD Chapter (Niagara).

     Frank joined the British Army Royal Engineers as a Sapper with 176th Workshop and Park Company in February 1943. On June 5th 1944, Frank was Seconded to the 1st Canadian Army, New Brunswick North Shore Regiment and served until the end of World War II. Frank participated in the Normandy Invasion and Juneau Beach Landing. Frank was released in June 1947 and in June 1954 immigrated to Canada and was employed by STELCO Canada in Hamilton Ontario as a Hoisting Engineer.

     Frank was a very active veteran as he was a member and Past President of the STELCO War Veteran's Association for 18 years. He was an ordinary member of the Royal Canadian Legion Mountain Branch 162, Hamilton, Ontario where he was instrumental in constructing the Hamilton Cenotaph and Memorial Gardens. Frank was also a Life Member of the Normandy Veteran's Association and the 447 Wing, Air Force Veteran's Association. Further, he was a benefactor to the Royal Canadian Air Force Veteran's Wing 447 Mount Hope and Cadet Squadron.

     Robert Bruce McPhail was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Founding Member of the Central Ontario Chapter, Barrie, Ontario.

     Bruce joined the Royal Canadian Engineers in May 1958 and served until his release in July 1961.

     Bruce completed a tour with the United Nations Emergency Force in Egypt with 1 Middle East Detachment Royal Canadian Engineers during the period April 1960 to April 1961.

     Lloyd H. Carr was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the Colonel John Gardam Chapter, Ottawa, Ontario.

     Lloyd joined the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals in June 1958 and served in the Land Element until his release.

     Lloyd completed tours with the United Nations Organization in Congo with the Canadian Signal Squadron during the period April 1962 to April 1963. He then completed a tour with the Canadian Contingent United Nations Disengagement Observation Force Golan Heights with 73 Canadian Signal Squadron during the period November 1977 to May 1978. Lloyd also completed a tour with the Canadian Contingent Headquarters, United Nations Disengagement Observation force in Damascus, Syria during the period Jul 1989 to July 1990.

     Lloyd was also an active member of the Ottawa Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.

     John R. Barlow was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the William C. Hall, VC Greenwood Chapter, Greenwood, Nova Scotia.

     John Joined the Royal Canadian Infantry Corps and was affiliated with 1st Battalion Royal Canadian Regiment in January 1952.

     John served a tour of duty with the 1st Battalion Royal Canadian Regiment in Korea during the period 1953 to 1954. John was wounded whilst in Korea and took his release in January 1955. John also qualified as a paratrooper prior to his embarkation to Korea.

Emery Hotte      Emery Hotte was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the Colonel John Gardam Chapter, Ottawa, Ontario.

     Emery joined the Canadian Army in January 1943 during World War II and went to France, Germany, Holland and England. He was discharged in December 1946.

     Emery re-enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces in August 1949 and was affiliated with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps (RCASC). As a transport operator he served in many locations such as Washington DC, USA and completing his career with North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. He returned to Canada and was discharged in March 1976.

     Emery served two United Nations tours with the United Nations Emergency Force, Gaza, Egypt during the period October 1958 to October 1959. He also completed a tour with United Nations Forces in Cyprus (UNFICYP).

     Emery was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 554 Rockland, Ontario and the Knights of Columbus, Gatineau, Quebec Branch 9988.

     David Wade was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the MGen Lewis W. MacKenzie Chapter, Sydney, Nova Scotia.

     Harold Smith was a Charter Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Founding Member of the Kingston Limestone Chapter, Kingston, Ontario.

     Harold joined the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals (RCCS) in August 1956 and served 28 years in the Land Element until his release in 1986.

     Harold completed a tour with the United Nations Emergency Force in Egypt with 56 Canadian Signal Squadron during the period April 1958 to April 1959.

     Clayton Ernest Beattie was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the Colonel John Gardam Chapter, Ottawa, Ontario.

     Brigadier-General (Retired) Clayton Ernest Beattie joined the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery in October 1950 and served until his retirement in March 1982.

     He completed a tour with the United Nations Forces in Cyprus as the Commander of the Canadian Peacekeeping Contingent and Hero of the Civil War in Cyprus in 1974. He also completed a tour with the Headquarters Staff with United Nations Emergency Force Middle East (UNEFME). With Michael S. Baxendale, Brigadier-General (Retired) Clayton Beattie wrote The Bulletproof Flag about the Canadian peacekeeping forces and the War in Cyprus.

     General Beattie was also a member of the Conference of Defence Associations Institute and Canadian Institute of International Affairs.

     James Linden Haynes was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the William C. Hall, VC Greenwood Chapter, Greenwood, Nova Scotia.

     James joined the North Nova Scotia Highland Regiment in January 1952 and was rebadged to the 2nd Battalion The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada whilst enroute to Korea in 1953. Jim later rebadged to the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps (Logistics Branch). He retired in February 1980.

     He completed a tour with the United Nations Forces in Cyprus in 1965.

     James was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Korean Veterans Association and the Black Watch (RHR) of Canada Association.

     George joined the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in May 1962 and served until his retirement in February 1988.

     George completed two tour with the United Nations Forces in Cyprus during the period 1963 - 196March 1968 to October 19686 and again from March 1974 to December 1974.

     George was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Peterborough, Ontario.

     Gerald joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in September 1954 and served with the Royal Canadian Air Force and Canadian Forces until his retirement in July 1988.

     Gerald completed a tour with the International Commission for Supervision and Control (Indo-China)(ICSC) during the period June 1972 to March 1973. He then completed his tour with the International Commission for Control and Supervision (Vietnam) (ICCS) during the period March 1973 to August 1973.

     G.J. Douglas Townend was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the National Headquarters Chapter, Ottawa, Ontario. Douglas also served as National Vice-President during the period 19 October 2000 to 16 January 2007.

     Douglas joined the Canadian Army in September 1958 and was affiliated with the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corp. Doug completed over 35 years of service with the Canadian Army and Canadian Public Service.

     Douglas served a United Nations tour with the United Nations Emergency Force Middle East (UNEFME) in Ismalia, Egypt during the period May 1975 to September 1975 and in Tel Aviv from September 1975 to November 1975.

     Douglas Townend was an Amateur Military Historian, an avid badge and Canadian Women's Army Corps memorabilia collector. Doug was also a member of the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps Association.

     Gary A.E. Vanstone was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the MGen Lewis W. MacKenzie Chapter, Sydney, NS.

     Gary joined the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals in July 1953 and served with 1st Army Signals, Canadian Forces Station Alert, Canadian Forces Station Masset and Canadian Forces Station Carp. Gary was released in November 1985.

     Gary Vanstone served a United Nations Tour with the United Nations Organization in the Congo.

     Gary was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

     Ivan E. Warner was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the Colonel John Gardam Chapter, Ottawa, Ontario.

     Ivan joined the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps in May 1951 and served with the Royal Canadian Dragoons and Fort Gary Horse until his release in May 1975.

     Ivan served a United Nations Tour with the Canadian Contingent United Nations Emergency Force Middle East in Egypt during the period January 1957 to January 1958 with 56 Canadian Reconnaissance Squadron.

     Ivan was also a member of the Korean Veterans Association, Unit 7; The Royal Canadian Dragoon Association (Ottawa Chapter); The Fort Gary Horse Association; Masonic Lodge, Pembroke, Ontario. Also a member of the Tunis Temple(Shriner) and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 618.

     Wesley H. Kirkby was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the LCpl David W. Young Chapter, Courtland, Ontario.

     Wesley joined the Royal Canadian Army Corps in January 1951 and was affiliated with the Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineer Corp. Wesley completed 27 years of service and was honorably discharged in November 1975.

     Wesley served a United Nations Tour with the United Nations Emergency Force in Rafia, Egypt during the period September 1964 to September 1965. The second tour was with the United Nations Emergency Forces (Middle East) for a six month tour in Ismailia, Egypt in 1974-1975.

     Wes was also a member and Past President of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch number 125, Delhi, Ontario. He was also a founding member and Past Vice President of the Niagara Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineer Association.

     André Séguin was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the Colonel John Gardam Chapter, Ottawa, Ontario.

     André joined the Royal Canadian Army (Militia) in October 1954, and then joined the Royal Canadian Army (Regular) as a soldier apprentice with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in June 1955. André later became a Commissioned Officer and a Helicopter pilot. Among his career accomplishments he commanded 408 Squadron.

     André Séguin served with the United Nations Transition Assistance Group (Namibia) (UNTAG) during 1988 - 1989, also in 1990. He also completed 2 tours with the United Nations Multinational Force and Observers (Sinai) during 1987 and 1991.

     André was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 638, Kanata, Ontario, the Royal Canadian Army Service Corp Apprentice Soldiers Association and the Friends of the Canadian War Museum.

     Eugène Bélanger was a member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping, Major-General Alain R. Forand Chapter, Quebec. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 79 Richelieu in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu till 2008, year his illness started.

     Eugène enlisted in the Canadian Army May 18, 1954. He served with the 1st R22eR in Germany from 1955 to 1957. Upon his return to Canada he served with the 2nd R22eR till his deployment to Cyprus from March till October 1964. In March 1965 he his posted to the 3rd R22eR and, returned to Cyprus in 1968. From July 1971 to 1974 he is posted to the Canadian Forces Recruit School (CFRS) St-Jean-sur-Richelieu where he is employed in many positions. In July 1974 he returned with the 2nd R22eR. Then in 1975 he is posted for a second time to the CFRS where he took his release from the Canadian Forces in 1979 as a sergeant.

     He died at the age of 84, April 14, 2013 in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC.

     l s'est enrôlé le 18 mai 1954. Il a servi avec le 1er R22eR en Allemagne de 1955-1957. De retour au Canada il est muté au 2e R22eR jusqu'à son déploiement à Chypre de mars à octobre 1964. En mars 1965 il est attaché au 3e R22eR et en 1968 il est de nouveau déployé à Chypre. De juillet 1971 jusqu'en 1974 il est muté à l'École de recrues des Forces canadiennes (ERFC) à St-Jean-sur-Richelieu où il a occupé plusieurs postes au sein de l'École. En 1974 il est muté au 2e R22eR. En 1975 il est de nouveau muté à l'ERFC où il prendra sa retraite en 1979 comme sergent après 25 années de loyaux services.

     Il est décédé le 14 avril 2013, à l'âge de 84 ans, à St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC.

     William Barry Helman was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member and Past President of the Ottawa Chapter later renamed the Colonel John Gardam Chapter (Ottawa).

     Barry joined the Canadian Army (Regular) and was affiliated with the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery in June 1951 and served until his release in July 1978 having completed 27 years' service.

     Barry served with the United Nations Forces in Korea during the period April 1954 to December 1954. He served a tour with United Nations Forces in Cyprus from April 1964 to October 1964 and a tour with United Nations Truce Supervision Organization in Palestine during the period August 1973 to August 1974.

     Barry was a member of the Royal Canadian Artillery Association and the Ottawa Gunners Association.

     Michael Grafton Belcher was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the National Headquarters Chapter.

     Michael served with the United Nations Emergency Forces in Egypt with 115 Air Transportation Unit, El Arish, Egypt.

     Francis Jerome Gillis MacIsaac was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Founding Member and Past President of the Port Hawkesbury Chapter later renamed the Private Alexander Lerue Chapter, Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia.

     Francis joined the 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise's) Armored Reconnaissance Squadron in March 1957 and served until his release in October 1981 having completed 24 years' service in the Canadian Armed Forces.

     Francis served with the United Nations Emergency Forces in Egypt during the period February 1964 to February 1965. He also served a tour with United Nations Forces in Cyprus from April 1966 to October 1966.

     He also completed a tour with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Germany.

     Francis was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43, Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia and was a President of the 8th Canadian Hussars Centurion Club.

     John (Jack) L. Frazer was a Life-Honorary Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Life-Honorary Member of the MCpl Mark Isfeld Memorial Chapter, Victoria, British Columbia.

     Jack joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in February 1951 and served until his retirement from the Canadian Forces in June 1987. While serving in the RCAF, Jack commanded several different units and squadrons in Canada, the United States and Europe.

     Jack was elected Member of Parliament for Saanich-Gulf Islands in October 1993. His Private Members Bill establishing the Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal was passed into Law in 1997.

     Jack was a regular supporter and member of the Salt Spring Island Royal Canadian Legion Branch 92.

     Jack was also the Canadian Director for the Gulf Islands for the International Canadians for the Relief of Starvation and suffering (ICROSS).

Normand Maurice      Normand Maurice CD, was a member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in the United Nations Peacekeeping Major-General Alain R. Forand Chapter, Québec. He was also a member of the Association du Royal 22e Régiment, Fort St-Jean Chapter, member of the Canadian Airborne Forces Association, #15 Guy D'Artois Branch , Brossard QC, and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 079 Richelieu in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC.

     On January 24, 1953, Normand Maurice enlisted in the Canadian Army as an infantryman. After Basic training, he then joined the 2e Royal 22e Régiment.. Throughout his career he served in all 3 R22eR Battalion. He participated to Expo 67, he served in Cyprus in 1968 and 1969, then in Germany from 1972 to 1974 year of his retirement from the CF. In 1978 he became an officer in the CF Reserve to later work with the Cadets till 1996 when he retired. The same year he was elected President of the R22eR Association, Fort St-Jean Branch in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu QC.

     Normand was awarded the following medals:  Special Service Medal (SSM), the Canadian Peace Keeping Medal (CPSM), the United Nation Forces in Cyprus Medal (UNIFICYP), the 2002 Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal and the Canadian Forces Decoration Medal (CD).

     Normand Maurice s'est enrôlé dans les Forces canadiennes le 24 janvier 1953 comme homme du rang.  Suite à sa formation, il joignit les rangs du 2e R22eR.  Durant sa carrière il servira au sein des trois Bataillons.  Il participera à Expo 67 ainsi qu'à la mission des Nations Unies à Chypres en 1968-1969.  Par la suite il sera muté en Allemagne de 1972 à 1974, année de sa libération des FC.  En 1978, il obtient son brevet d'officier des Forces de la réserve et travaillera à la formation de cadets, emploi qu'il conservera jusqu'en 1996 lors de sa retraite.  Il sera élu président de l'Association du Royal 22e Régiment, succursale Fort St-Jean en 1996.

     Normand était le récipiendaire de : la Médaille du Service Spéciale (MSS), la Médaille canadienne du maintien de la paix (MCMP), la médaille de la  Force des Nations Unies à Chypre (FUNUC), la médaille jubilé de la reine Elizabeth II (2002) et la Décoration des Forces canadiennes (CD).

     Donald joined the Canadian Forces in August 1959 and served until his release in June 1992.

     He completed a tour with the United Nations Force in Cyprus and a tour with United Nations Emergency Force (Middle East).

     André Dupré was a member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping, Major-General Alain R. Forand Chapter, Quebec.      André enlisted in the Canadian Army April 3, 1963 in Longueuil QC. After his basic training at the Citadelle Depot in Quebec City he served with the Royal 22e Régiment in Valcartier QC, in Werl (1965-1968) and Lahr (1974-75) Germany and with the UN in Cyprus in 1964 and 1979. He also served as RSFP in Montreal QC, at the Canadian Forces Recruit School in St-Jean-sur-le-Richelieu and for his last posting he served at the Royal Military College St-Jean QC where he retired in 1983 as a Master-Warrant Officer after 21 years of service.

     He died at the age of 69, May 17, 2012 in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC. Je me Souviens.

     Il est décédé le 17 mai 2012, à l'âge de 69 ans, à St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC. Je me Souviens.

     Donald Clarke was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the Colonel John Gardam Chapter (Ottawa), Ottawa, Ontario.

     Donald joined the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals in July 1944 and served until released in June 1979.

     Donald completed tours with the United Nations Emergency Force in Egypt from September 1958 to September 1959 and with the United Nations Emergency Force Middle East from January 1977 to July 1977.

     Donald was also a Life member of the Signals Association of Canada.

     William Alexander Matthew was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the South Saskatchewan Chapter, Regina, Saskatchewan.

     Bill joined the Canadian Army (Regular) in December 1959 and served until his release in January 1980.

     Bill completed a tour with the United Nations Emergency Force in Camp Rafah, Egypt from September 1963 to September 1964.

     Bill was also member of the Royal United Services Institute in Regina, a member of the Saskatchewan Veterans Association, the Army Cadet League of Canada (Saskatchewan Branch) and a member of the Federal Super Annuitants National Association.

     Dale Franklin MacKey was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the Headquarters Chapter, Ottawa, Ontario.

     Dale joined the Canadian Armed Forces as an Infanteer with the 1st Battalion the Black Watch (RHR) of Canada in November 1966 and served until his release in December 1968.

     Dale completed a United Nations tour of duty with the United Nations Force in Cyprus from October 1967 to March 1968.

     Dale was also a member of the Atlantic Branch of the Black Watch (RHR) Association and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43, Oshawa, Ontario.

     Padre Gilles Boily, CD, was a member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in the United Nations Peacekeeping, Major-General Alain R. Forand Chapter, Québec. He was born on August 10, 1930 in Vallée Jonction QC. and was ordained a priest (RC) in 1955, in Lévis QC. In 1967, he was mandated to the Canadian Forces Chaplain Vicariate.

     Throughout his 27 year career he served in: Moose Jaw, Sk.; CMR St-Jean and St-Jean Garrison, Qc; in Lahr, Germany, Kingston, On; Cold Lake, Ab; Trenton, On; St-Hubert, Qc ; and served with the United Nations, in Cyprus, from 1989 to 1990. He retired from the Forces in May 1991.

     Padre Boily was awarded the following medals:  Special Service Medal (SSM), the Canadian Peace Keeping Medal (CPSM), the United Nation Forces in Cyprus Medal (UNIFICYP) and the Canadian Decoration Medal (CD).

     He died at the age of 81, August 10, 2011 in Quebec City. QC.

     L'aumônier Gilles Boily, membre de la succursale Major-général Alain R Forand de l'Association canadienne des vétérans des Forces de paix des Nations Unies est né le 10 août 1930, à Vallée Jonction, QC et  fut ordonné prêtre en 1955, à Lévis.  En septembre 1967, il fut mandaté  au Vicariat militaire des Forces canadiennes.

     Au cours des 27 années suivantes le Padre Boily a connu plusieurs affectations telles que : Moose Jaw, Sk.; CMR St-Jean et Garnison de St-Jean, Qc; Lahr, Allemagne; Kingston, On; Cold Lake, Ab; Trenton, On; St-Hubert, Qc ; et une mission de l'ONU, à Chypre, en 1989-1990. Il prit sa retraite des Forces canadiennes en mai 1991.

     Par la suite il remplaça les aumôniers sur différentes bases militaires. Aussi il a exercé son ministère dans le Diocèse St-Jean-Longueuil où il a demeuré de 1984 à 2011. L'aumônier Gilles Boily est le récipiendaire de la Médaille du Service Spécial (MSS), la Médaille canadienne du maintien de la paix (MCMP), la médaille de la  Force des Nations Unies à Chypre (FUNUC) et de la Décoration des Forces canadiennes (CD).

     Il est décédé le 10 août 2011, à l'âge de 81 ans, à Québec, QC.

     Alexander Donald Fraser was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the LCpl David W. Young Chapter, Courtland, Ontario.

     Don joined the Royal Canadian Army in May 1956 as a Rifleman with the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada and served until his release in April 1980 and served until his release in 1981.

     Donald completed three United Nations tour of duty with the United Nations Force in Cyprus: 1st tour from March to October 1965; 2nd tour from March to October 1970 and the 3rd tour from January to June 1975.

     Don also served with the NATO Forces in Germany and was a member of the Royal Canadian Corps of Commissionaires for fifteen years after his retirement from the Canadian Forces.

     Donald was also a member of the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada Association, the Royal Canadian Regiment Association, the Retired Commissionaires Association, the Huff-N-Puff Senior's Club and the Royal Canadian Legion's Victory Branch (317), London, Ontario.

     Joseph Reisenburg was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the Colonel John Gardam Chapter (Ottawa), Ottawa, Ontario.

     Joseph joined the Canadian Army (Regular) in February 1944 as a Infantry man and served until his release in May 1978.

     Joseph served overseas during World War II and completed a tour with the United Nations Emergency Force in Camp Rafah, Egypt from December 1962 to December 1963.

     James Edward (Ed) Lankin was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member and Past President of the LCpl David W. Young Chapter, Courtland, Ontario.

     Ed joined the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals as a Radio Operator in July 1957 and served until his release in September 1977.

     Ed completed a United Nations tour of duty with United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF I) from 1960 to 1961 in Gaza, Egypt. He then completed a tour with the United Nations Forces in Cyprus (UNFICYP) in Nicosia, Cyprus from 1967 to 1968. Ed did a second tour of duty with United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF II) in Cairo, Egypt from 1972 to 1973. He was also part of the NATO forces in Soest, Germany from 1962 to 1965.

     Stanley John Bendle was a Chartered Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Chartered Member of the Kingston Limestone Chapter, Kingston, Ontario.

     Stanley joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in September 1946 and served until his release in April 1966.

     Stanley completed a United Nations tour of duty with the 115 Air Transport Unit in El Arish, Egypt with United Nations Emergency Force Middle East from April 1961 to March 1962. During this tour, Stanley was certified that he had the required amount of sand in his shoes" for membership in the Non Commissioned Officer's Mess of 115 Air Transport Unit.

     Remi Lefebvre was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the Colonel John Gardam Chapter (Ottawa), Ottawa, Ontario.

     Remi Joined the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals in January 1955 and served until his retirement in March 1975.

     Remi served with the United Nations Emergency Force in Egypt in 1956 and with the United Nations Force in Cyprus in 1964.

     Remi was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Canadian Airborne Regiment Association of Canada.

     Howard B. McGann was an Honorary Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was an Honorary Member of the Central Ontario Chapter, Barrie, Ontario.

     Howard joined the Royal Canadian Artillery Reserves at age 16 and served for five years. He then joined the Toronto Police Services then later resigned to join the Toronto Transit Security Department.

     Howard was very active with the Central Ontario Chapter as the Chapter's official photographer. He en massed a large archive of photographs of the various chapter's activities and meetings.

     Robert LaRose was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the Kingston Limestone Chapter, Kingston, Ontario.

     Robert joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1944 and served until 1945. He was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal; the War Medal and the 1939 - 1945 Star.

     He then joined the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps in 1949 and served until his release in 1978. During this period he served in Korea from May 1953 to June 1954 and was Commander United Nations Emergency Force (Middle East) from April 1975 to August 1976 based in Ismailia, Egypt.

     Robert served with the Lord Strathcona Horse (RC). He was appointed Colonel of the Regiment - 12e Régiment blindé du Canada from 1979 - 1987. H also held the appointment of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel and Honorary Colonel of the Governor General's Foot Guards.

     Robert was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Royal Canadian Military Institute, Canadian Institute of Strategic Studies and Conference of Defence Association Institute.

     Rowland V. Winter was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the Central Ontario Chapter, Barrie, Ontario.

     Rowland joined the Royal Canadian Army in May 1951 as a Supply Technician. He retired in February 1979 having served 28 years of Military Service.

     Rowland completed a one year tour with the International Commission for Supervision and Control (Indo-China) (ICSC) in 1958 to 1959. He also completed a tour of duty with United Nations Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) in 1972.

     Rowland was also an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Barrie, Ontario.

     Daniel (Danny) Clifford Sampson was a member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a member of the Private Alexander Lerue Chapter, Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia.

     Danny joined the Canadian Army in the Royal Canadian Engineer Corps (RCE) in 1951 and served until honourably released in 1954.

     Danny served in the Korean War during the period 1950 to 1953. He was awarded the United Nations Medal for Korea, The Canadian Medal for Korea and the Korean Volunteer Service Medal as well as the Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal.

     Danny was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch Number 150 Arichat, Nova Scotia.

     Edward T. Robichaud was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the National Headquarters Chapter.

     Edward joined the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps as a Service Corps Cook in October 1955 and served until his release in October 1981.

     Edward completed two United Nations tour of duty with the United Nations Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) with the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry from April to October 1968 and his second tour with the 2nd Royal 22nd Regiment from November 1971 to April 1972. He also completed a United Nations Tour with United Nations Observation Force Golan Heights (UNDOF) with 73 Service Battalion during February to August 1975.

     Edward was also an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Church Point, Nova Scotia. He was also a member of the Atlantic Gunners Association; Canadian Chef and Cooks Association, Nova Scotia Branch and the C.I.A.R.E. Shooting Association.

     Daniel Alexander Russ was a Member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a Member of the National Headquarters Chapter, Ottawa, Ontario.

     Daniel joined the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals in August 1956 and served until his release in 1981.

     Daniel completed United Nations tour of duty in 1960 with 57 Canadian Signals Unit with the United Nations Organization in Congo (ONUC); with 56 Canadian Signal Squadron in Egypt with United Nations Emergency Force I (UNEF I) in 1964 - 1965 and with the Damascus Signal Troop with United Nations Disengagement Observation Force Golan Heights (UNDOF) in 1978 - 1979.

     Daniel also served with the 709 Toronto Communication Reserve Regiment upon his release from the Regular Force.

     Daniel was also a member of the Hamilton Ontario Signals Association and the Royal Hamilton Military Institute.

     John Francis Reilly was a member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping and was a member of the LGen R.R. Crabbe Chapter, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

     John joined the Canadian Army as a Weapons Technician in the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RCEME) in December 1947 until his release in March 1974. During this time John served in the Korean War.

     Upon his release from the Regular Force, John continued to serve with the Canadian Armed Forces Primary Reserve (Land Reserve) from 10 April 1975 until honorably released on 23 October 1982.

     John was an active member of the Korean Veterans Association, Unit 17, where he proudly cared for the Cenotaph at Brookside Cemetery. He was also a member of the Senior Non Commissioned Officers Association, a Lifetime Member and Past President/Honorary President of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 1, a member of the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineer Association and the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery Association.
